Randi gave. I don't have to follow her around like a dog, believing everything she says. After all, she is the one that tells us to "look it up yourself, all the links are on my website. I looked it up, she lost. Nothing upsetting about it. You are the one who can't handle the fact that she lost this bet and now is spinning like a leaf. She should have simply said, I misspoke. That would have been the upstanding thing to do when you are talking about a 5K bet.

So they don't understand that the wording of the bet is paramount. I have and when 5k was mentioned my mind and ears went into overdrive. I love to gamble on a handshake, especially when the issue is trivial but determinable.

I've made man-to-man bets for 20 years. I wouldn't dare argue this as a winner, unless I wanted to be tagged a desperate phony and forfeit all credibilty.

Like seriousstan says, gambling is a serious matter for those who do it. I've been burned on a few message boards, but not this one, with posters making man to man bets, then wimping out and not paying.
