representatives to focus us. These are the issues that are important to me:
- Referendum on the Iraq war and the general policies at large concerning the Middle East. This includes examining our relationship with Israel, Palestinians, Iran and the separatist factions in Iraq.
- Referendum on Congress cowardly abdicating their powers and responsibilities of warfare and declaration thereof;
- Referendum on the American military machine and the never-ending drain on the country's resources;
- Referendum on the current medical system and the lack of quality care for many Americans irregardless of the obscene spending by government AND citizens, much of it ending up in the pockets of drug companies and insurance companies;
- Referendum on living wages for all citizens;
- Referendum on all adults being able to choose their spouse, irregardless of sex, and enjoy the rights and privileges thereof;
- Referendum on freedom of reproductive choice. Why is there still an issue when all polls show an overwhelming majority of Americans favor reproductive choice?
- Referendum on the "lobbyist" form of government, wherein the industry or special interest that spends the most in bribes to public officials wins the right to loot the citizenry;
- Referendum on the shocking state of electoral affairs and diligent prosecution of electoral fraud;
- Referendum on the issue of the electoral infrastructure in biased, private hands, with no oversight by any impartial body;
- Referendum on the wholesale give-away of public lands and resources to corporate patrons for pennies on the dollar, if any compensation;
- True enforcement of the separation of church and state, which is supported overwhelmingly by a majority of American citizens;
- Referendum on the issue of "immortal person hood" for corporations.
- Referendum on the obscene tax breaks and advantages for the rich, which is bleeding the middle class of America bone dry and killing the American dream for all but a privileged few.
This is what I want to discuss. These are the issues that matter to me. What matters to you?
