Santorum Has $9.5M in Bank for Re-Election
‘Santorum, one of the most vulnerable incumbents facing re-election this November, said Friday he has $9.5 million in cash for the remaining months of the campaign”

snip

“Bob Casey, has $5.2 million in cash after raising $2.8 million in the last quarter.”

Rick is spending twice as much as Casey on election.

So Pennsylvania people, is he gaining ground?

Are you bombarded with ads from him?

Getting him out would be a glorious thing

1. I hope that 50 mil won't save Santorum's sorry butt in this race.
I would love to see him gone on November 7th, sometime in the early evening of returns.

2. DeWine doesn't even have that much
but then DeWine has had to begin running tv ads already because he's behind in the polls.

4. I wonder how much of that money was "donated" by Santorum's
"charity," which seems to be in violation of the law by having admin costs that are way above the percentages allowed by law...

5. Rick is usually behind by double digit margins
Diebold Defeatists may say otherwise, but I think Rick is DONE.

10. I don't see how Santorum can win.
He is so out of step with his state and his country! But beyond that, have you noticed that he looks really, well....stupid? It's something about the beady, unenlightened-looking eyes.

What a loser.

7. A little off-topic, but have you ever noticed how Rick Santorum
looks like Billy the Kid?

8. That's great!

I've been having to see Santorum's nasty face on the ads he's been running. Now I can think of the Billy the Kid picture and laugh!

9. So far, so good ...
Santorum has had a two to one edge all along ... I have seen about three different TV ads in the central PA area ... The latest an ad that does not mention Santorum, it just has some "good american" type small businessman talking about Bob Casey is going to raise taxes ... That is basically it, a bunch of good feeling, middle america type clips around text of Casey wanting to raise taxes a dozen times ... The ad makes me want to pull my hair out, are people REALLY that stupid ...

I have seen one Casey ad ... Him basically talking about time for change in DC ... No mention of the scumbag ...

Santorum is SO boxed in ... As I noted, he is not even in this last ad ... I have seen him in an ad, but he can't run on himself, he can't run on the president ...

Casey, the last time he ran for Treasurer, got the most votes of any candidate for any office ever in the history of the state ...He just needs to run steady ... Not make any mistakes, let Santorum be himself, as I really get the feeling that the people of the state FINALLY have seen this guy as the twisted, bizarre piece of garbage that he is ...

11. Thanks for the info
I don't live in the state, so it's great when people tell us what is going on

How do you feel about Casey, besides the fact that he's not Ricky?

I thought I read somewhere that he is anti-choice.

12. That much sure buys a lot of interference......
Really, how much will he be spending on airtime? How much spending will be listed as "other" or "miscellaneous"?

I hope every democrat in Pa brings a camera to the polls this November..
