U.S. Government Contractor selling ALL bin Laden DVDs for $39.95 on-line!
I just found this website that was selling ALL of the recent "Osama bin Laden" video/audio messages while I've was looking for the "Islamic website" that keeps posting them, and now, I just found a reference to it in a News article on the "Free Belgium" web site.

The page below is translated from French to English via Google, the untranslated page link is below the translated english text.

BTW, the reference to "Have-Sahab" I believe is a mis-translation of "As-Sahab," which is short for the the name of the "As-Sahab Foundation for Islamic Media Publication," which is were all of these "messages from bin Laden" have been coming from since late 2004.

I'm not sure yet if the last fake bin Laden video (the skinny, robotic looking, studio bin Laden) came from there too, they don't sell that one on the "IntelCenter" website.

Below is the links to the reference to the "IntelCenter" and below that is the actual link to the site where you can buy the "bin Laden" DVDs:

<http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=fr&u=http://www.lalibre.be/article.phtml%3Fid%3D10%26subid%3D83%26art_id%3D293494&sa=X&oi=translate&resnum=8&ct=result&prev=/search%3Fq%3Das-Sahab%2BInstitute%2Bfor%2BMedia%2BProduction%26start%3D10%26hl%3Den%26lr%3D%26client%3Dfirefox-a%26rls%3Dorg.mozilla:en-US:official%26sa%3DN>

...One very active June

According to IntelCenter, a company under contract with the American government,
the Bin Laden network has its own company of production Have-Sahab, which diffused 31 vidéos since January and at least six since the 1erjuin. “This is the highest level of production for Al Qaeda in one month”, notes IntelCenter in a dated June 21 report/ratio.

Since 2002, Have-Sahab acts clearly to make the Al Qaeda propaganda. It diffused tens of recordings, Bin Laden for 21 PC and Al-Zawahiri for 34 PC. Al Qaeda draws from a bank of images to renew its calls to the holy war and its harvests of funds.

A journalist of the American agency Associated Press, Kathy Gannon, could this week meet one of the cameramen who operate for Have-Sahab (the cloud, in Arabic). This Afghan believes it that a half-dozen of cameramen are regularly enrôlés by Al Qaeda, according to the place where they are. The majority are Arab and do not know....

Here's the link to the page at the "IntelCenter" where you can buy the videos. <http://www.intelcenter.com/audio-video/qaeda.html>

Hey, maybe is just a site where the U.S. Government thinks it can catch REALLY Stupid terrorist wannabes (You have to fill in you name and address etc. to buy them) or maybe it's something else.

BTW, they already have the NEW "video" audio message from "bin Laden" that was released today, I wonder how they managed that? :sarcasm:

5. Thanks, but I have to give a lot of credit to Google. There are...
...a lots more interesting links to explore if you google these word combinations:

As sahab

As-Sahab

As-Sahab website

or

As-Sahab Foundation for Islamic Media Publication

Feel free to add anymore new info you find.

Another interesting site, which I think is were the lazy cable "news" reporter get their scoops is the SITE Institute at these links:

2. I urge film-buyers to forego the bin-Laden offering and try one of
Robert Altman's films instead. Hell of a director.

Or maybe something with Meryl Streep. Or Jack Nicholson.

And don't forget the indy films from Sundance and other festivals.

We can do better than another one of those dreary-ass bin-Laden threat tapes.

3. Unless you are being sarcastic, I think you are missing the point...
...A company, working for the U.S. Government, is selling the bin Laden DVDs! That makes the U.S. Government one of the main distributors of this terror video crap.

And they are using your Tax money to do it too!

BTW, if you have a fairly fast internet connection, I found a link high quality versions of most of them on-line, where you can down load them for free:

<http://www.archive.org/search.php?query=creator%3A%22As-Sahab%20Media%22&sort=-%2Fmetadata%2Fpublicdate>

I downloaded a 655mb MPEG1 file to day that's about the Sept. 11 attacks (It's all in arabic though)

8. Maybe CGA or Pixar...
I'm firmly believe the guy has been dead since December 2001.

His last video (that you could definitely tell it was him) was filmed in November of 2001, released a few days after the Dark, and Fat Osoma in the "Smoking Gun video", that the US Government just "happened to find" in a abandoned house in Afghanistan.

15. C.I.A. Closes Unit Focused on Capture of bin Laden (NY Times)
Edited on Fri Jul-07-06 10:59 AM by Up2Late
(Maybe this is why the WH has been pushing so hard to Discredit The New York Times? They have already been successful at turning so-called Liberals here at DU against NPR, who reported this FIRST!)

C.I.A. Closes Unit Focused on Capture of bin Laden

By MARK MAZZETTI
Published: July 4, 2006

WASHINGTON, July 3 — The Central Intelligence Agency has closed a unit that for a decade had the mission of hunting Osama bin Laden and his top lieutenants, intelligence officials confirmed Monday. The decision is a milestone for the agency, which formed the unit before Osama bin Laden became a household name and bolstered its ranks after the Sept. 11 attacks, when President Bush pledged to bring Mr. bin Laden to justice "dead or alive."

The realignment reflects a view that Al Qaeda is no longer as hierarchical as it once was, intelligence officials said, and a growing concern about Qaeda-inspired groups that have begun carrying out attacks independent of Mr. bin Laden and his top deputy, Ayman al-Zawahiri.

Agency officials said that tracking Mr. bin Laden and his deputies remained a high priority, and that the decision to disband the unit was not a sign that the effort had slackened. Instead, the officials said, it reflects a belief that the agency can better deal with high-level threats by focusing on regional trends rather than on specific organizations or individuals.

"The efforts to find Osama bin Laden are as strong as ever," said Jennifer Millerwise Dyck, a C.I.A. spokeswoman. "This is an agile agency, and the decision was made to ensure greater reach and focus." The decision to close the unit was first reported Monday by National Public Radio.
