RFK, Jr. on Colbert tonight
Edited on Mon Jun-12-06 02:08 PM by TomInTib
Bobby Kennedy Jr. says enough votes disappeared in Ohio during the 2004 presidential election to steal the Election for Bush. Kennedy says the affair was a concerted effort by high-level Republicans that included Ohio Secretary of State J. Kenneth Blackwell. He says the illegal effort went all the way to the White House.
Kennedy is an environmental attorney and the son of the late Robert F. Kennedy. Kennedy is planning several public appearances in the near future, including an appearance on The Colbert Report currently scheduled for Monday, June 12 to lay out the evidence of fraud by top Republicans.
Only 6 votes each precinct in Ohio during the election in 2004 decided the state of Ohio and gave the Presidency to Bush. In heavily democratic precincts in Ohio, the Secretary of State was responsible for long lines that discouraged voters from participating in the election.
Margaret Watson, a poll watcher in Ohio says republican election workers would challenge democratic voters standing in line in an effort to embarrass them and hope they would leave the polling station before voting. Pollster Lou Harris of the Harris Poll described the voting chicanery in Ohio as the dirtiest of any in American history.

1. Hey, Tom! Has
Olbermann addressed Kennedy's RS article at all? I've been away from home and the news, and haven't seen him in over a week.
I'm glad Colbert's giving him some face time!

3. So when's Jon
Gonna have the Coulter Thing on Daily Show? I want to see someone in possession of facts & knowledge about the rules of debate question her.

12. Doesn't matter if they know the rules of debate
and are in possession of the facts. Ann lies and makes things up as she goes along. Her book is already #1, I hope she doesn't get any more exposure on popular shows.

5. It's long past time for
the greatest threat and impediment to our fledgling and faltering democracy to be screamed from the rooftops.

K & R'd

Glad at least a few are still up to it.

6. Get Bob Herbert, NY Times, on Colbert, Stewart or Olbermann
How strange that these shows are the only ones that dare to stand up to power. Bob Herbert of the New York Times is a hero, and has been for a long time for me. Today, he also challenged the "vote" in Ohio. He will not be attacked, not yet, unless The Buzz starts. Then Rove will turn loose the dogs of war. As ever. Hannity will as be the barometer, along with O'Reilly, but why is there no Murrow or Cronkite today? Ed and Walter never dreamed of the wealth these infotypes have acquired. What do they have to lose? Their perceived entree to the "right" cocktail parties? Their loss of reputation? (Well, like Paris Hilton today, that is admittedly not an issue. . .)

9. No, that's our job.
It is our moral obligation to bring him down. Patrick Fitzgerald, I fear, has probably had small children and puppies that he loves threatened with death if he goes after Rove.

17. LOL.
You are correct. We are morally obligated. Read Fitz had a cat and was not married, though.

You're puppy is cute.

Just set my Directv to auto-tune so as not to miss this.

So very proud of Bobby Kennedy, Jr., Caroline and their uncle, too. Go Bobby! You're dad would be proud.
