vote up ykos article msnbc
hey, its good coverage of progressives gaining political power.

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/13190686/

"LAS VEGAS - Could this past weekend’s Yearly Kos convention -- the conclave of 900 activists sponsored by the Daily Kos web site -- turn out to be the most significant political gathering of 2006?

Here’s why it might be: The next Democratic presidential nominee will have to go with, or go over, or go around the left-populist-progressive wing of the Democratic Party."

....

4. Well, thanks for pointing me to the article. I read the part about Boxer

which I missed this weekend. What's wrong with her, if this is true?

I resent MSNBC saying that we object to Lieberman because of his vote for the war.

I resent Leiberman for being a Republican.

So, waht's gone wrong with her?

This is the first time in my life that I have been seriously disappointed with a the heroine I think she is.

I have to go check out something that isn't MSNBC - can someone tell me where to look for the other side of the Boxer story, hoping that there is an other side?

I resent MSNBC saying that we object to Lieberman because of his vote for the war. I resent Leiberman for being a Republican.

7. Barbara Boxer has to support her fellow candidates. Lieberman on
"social issues" and "environment" has been pretty liberal in the past. He turned when he ran with Gore and became a Repug.

Boxer is not the issue...it's dumping Lieberman. We shouldn't attack her for having to support a fellow Senator.
