I think Rove's going to be in for a big disappointment...
In a couple of weeks, violence will reemerge once more in Iraq. More American soldiers will die.

And Bush's polls, after the tiniest of bounces, will drop yet again.

Sorry, Karl. But people tend to roll their eyes at the WH nowadays.

2. According to Antiwar.com, U.S. KIA in Iraq are at 2480 today.
Given current daily rate(s) of casualties, we should cross the 2500 KIA mark sometime between June 15 and July 4. Now wouldn't that make for a festive Independence Day celebration (NOT!)

3. Unfortunately for jr the insurgents apparently don't watch fox news
so they don't know they are in their last throes.

the violence continues unabated TODAY. but america isn't paying attention to the war anymore, so that's out of the equation.

killing zarqawi is little more than a propaganda coup, and you will see a bounce for president dumbfuck, as disheartened american fascists grasp at straws.

because they're too afraid to look at troubling things like reality, facts, and themselves, they'll never see the absurd circle jerk this 'victory' is part of: it cost us a trillion dollars to invade a country that wasn't a threat, create a terrorist mastermind who barely existed prior to our presence there, hunt him down, kill him, and declare a major victory because we got 1 guy. ONE guy. one TRILLION dollar credit card bill.

6. oh yeah
the insurgency will mount something impressive to demonstrate that zarqawi's death means nothing. this stunt, like all of their recent stunts, will backfire.

7. Yep. The Bush administration has played all its high cards
and the only thing left is to smear people.

Maybe toss in a few fake terruh alerts, too, just to keep the locals edgy.
