Now that the Evil Zarqawi is dead the war has been won. All across Iraq insurgents will return to the foreign lands from which they came, and peace will return. A great victory over the forces of evil has occurred. On to Iran!

1. I'm wondering why...

...it took a squadron of planes to kill him. It really makes me begin to question the truthfulness of such seminal drama-documentaries as 'Rambo' and 'Navy Seals'. I mean, couldn't we have just sent some heavily-muscled hunk with a headband and a .50 cal machine gun in to take out Zarqawi? Think how much time and money we could have saved if we did these things like we did in the old days.

I have been surprised that the media has not been pointing out that months ago the Pentagon states that they had overblown Zarqawi's importance to the Iraqi insurgants. I have not seen one person point out that infromation. Nor have I seen anyone question whether getting Zarqawi will have any affect on the Iraq situation in that the Pentagon said he was not as important as they had made him out to be.

Yeah I heard that a little while after I posted my comment. However, so far she is the only person I have heard say that. She has once again made me happy that Air America exists. Often times she and others from Air America ask the questions that the main stream media do not ask.
