Amend the Constitution about gays (3-5%) but not about women (51%)

if they could come up with a way to reamend the Constitution to take rights away from women, they would be. They just don't believe in amending the Constitution to grant additional rights, only to take them away.

and won't they have to make each of the 50 states ratify so it can be voted on in a national election?
