It would be great if we all agreed on Who to vote for or
the same on every issue. But independent thinkers rarely do. It's a catch 22 really.
It's the way it is but damn hard for leaders to know what the hell we want.
Republicans on the other hand seem to just follow the leader. If McCain would have
beat Bush, they would have followed him just as blindly.
Not all be many more than Dem's. OK I'm done lamenting.

1. Actually, I can turn that whole thought around .......
Show us a leader with his own views that are generally in line with Democratic priciples and allow him to speak strongly and passionately for exactly what **he** (or she) believes in and I suspect there'd be wide support for him.

Our problem is that we've too many wet fingers in the air, testing the winds of public sentiment and not enough of one person taking a brave and principled stand.

2. Really doesn't turn it around. But I see your point. I still think
we will never be like they are. Anyone who can win is not how we think.

4. My vote
It depends on who runs. If John Warner runs, I might vote for him unless I like another Democrat. Warner was a good governor - he ran Virginia well.

I agree with the first response - if a Democrat can state their case and stand on principle, I'll probably vote for them.

5. Just wait.... we will get there!
Stick around and you'll see what happens..

We'll go through all of the campaign season supporting our various candidates whoever they may be..

And as the races really get going, they'll be some great "all nighters" here at DU. :hangover:

We'll start out like this --->

And eventually.. when our candidate is known and the debates begin, we'll all be cheering that candidate on!

It's way too early to settle on a candidate when none of us even have a clue who's running..

Hard to say which is the funnest.. .... the primary ...or the point when we all come together to support our eventual nominee?
