1. When all else fails. . .Diebold!
He cultivates hate. He is Rush Limbaugh without the daily show, and no doubt the puppeteer for Rush and Hannity. Rove isn't "political." He is diabolical, and unredeemably evil. W. is just a tool to him. Like Rush, he was no doubt picked on when young, and now takes his revenge by controlling the "popular boy" (Bush), as Rush seethes with resentment against the popular boy he can't control (Clinton). They are bizarre psychological studies, and in many ways the same.

3. The truth is (and I mean no insult to anyone) but Rove is the
pudgy kid in school who got picked on..
and through the lack of character her learned to manipulate people, he lied, he destroyed people, he cheated....he did whatever had to do to win.

He didn't grow up out of the phase...he takes glee in destroying the fabric of America by placing false barriers within and between communities, races, political parties....

Well I hope he gets his in the end.....and I mean that literally!!!

5. But it wouldn't have worked if he didn't also scare people into
playing along and not calling the lies. With a strong independent press, he wouldn't have made it past the whisper campaign against Ann Richards.

4. I am not so sure. From 70 to under 30 in a few years is something
not every one can do. Seems there is only a few people in his job that has done that kind of a job. Bush should give him the freedom medal or something.

11. His client
Is president of the United States. A lot of political advisers would love be in that position. To use a baseball analogy, Rove won the World Series twice in a row. And now that his team has declined you seem to think he is a loser. How many other political advisers are there out there who have a track record of success as long as Rove's. Sure he is a hateful evil human being, but he knows how to win elections. Especially against Dems.

13. Rove is the master of the press release
Rove is the master of the press release, where timing is sometimes more important than content. Giving the press a small, inoculation dose of the truth before bad news is due is his forte. It worked to diffuse George W. Bush's dismal Vietnam record, and the candidates history of an on-off again relationship with the Texas Air National Guard. In that case, Rove managed to muddy the waters enough to sink venerable CBS anchor, Dan Rather, while never refuting the point at issue. Letting slip an enticing confirmation of his impending imprisonment, however temporarily, over a weekend preceding a Monday Presidential address, allowing a couple of days of denials to cast doubt on the story (just another liberal conspiracy theory), is just his style. In this case though, I imagine it's Karl Rove's last straw.

15. If lying and controlling media makes one a genius, then he is a genius.
It is a shame what our standards for "genius" have become.

He lies, then the media dutifully repeats his lies as facts. Some call it "genius."

It works, whether it is genius or not is a matter of standards.

16. Turd Blossom
stands for shit for brains.

He really is overestimated, quite a bit. He's nothing more than that kleptomaniac from high school that stuffed the ballot box at the prom for the girl he was stalking that week.

He's been trying to get out of that one ever since.

18. This sounds like a Rovian plot!
Rove is purposely circulating the rumor that he is the most overblown political adviser of our time! We won't know what his intention is until he laughs in our faces and then, it will be too late!

:sarcasm:

I agree, he is definitely overblown. If anything, he's reading his own press releases.
