Outsourcing / Offshoring links?

1. The WashPost business section had a story today
about how Indian H1-Bs have hired a fancy DC lobbying firm to lobby for them. Sorry I can't get the link - the Post website is restricted and I refuse to jump through all their hoops.

3. IIRC the CS Monitor had a story a while back
It showed how the outsourcing trend is utterly wrecking our domestic science and engineering industries, since US students don't want to train in these fields anymore. If this trend continues, the US will soon be an uninhabitable wasteland-- might as well buy up some plots of land in southern France or its neighbors while you can and take a good course in French, Italian or German, cuz there may not be much of the US economy left in the next few decades as the Bushite companies progressively trash it from within.
