Rothenberg Political Report: The House is in play
Rothenberg's House Outlook
Rothenberg Political Report: "We believe that the House definitely is 'in play,' and the key to whether Republicans can maintain control is whether they can discredit individual Democratic challengers who otherwise would be positioned to win. We are increasing our estimate of likely Democratic gains from 5-8 seats to 7-10 seats (they need to net 15 seats for control), with a bias toward even greater Democratic gains."

1. How telling...

that the Republicans only hope for success is
based on "discrediting" their opponents.
What ever happened to running on your merits and ideas???

I believe America has had just enough of Republican bullshit.
They can "discredit" all they want... they are truly losers.

2. That is exactly what I was thinking...
It is interesting to read that "discrediting your opponent" is now an acceptable campaign strategy.

These people make me sick.

3. Endless wars, ruined
economy, gas prices in the stratosphere, complete and total whoring for corporations, etc etc. The rethugs have NOTHING to offer to the People and barring MASSIVE fraud will lose the House and possibly the Senate. Dems should regain a majority of state houses and legislatures also, they need to hit hard at the power mad, endlessly greedy, and certifiably insane extreme right and bury them in the ashheap of history where they belong.
