I think the actor is David Leisure. He'd be perfect. It's just an act, after all.

He's got the shtick! I seriously doubt Smirk "gets it." (All Press Briefings would be accompanied by a Word of the Day.")

"Bring 'Truthiness' to the Briefing!"

Should have said "Tag Team: Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert."

I see it all now....

17. I just heard on the radio that it was going to be Tony Snow from FOX...
At first it sounded like whoever I was listening to (sorry didn't catch who it was) was kidding, but then they actually started talking about his qualifications, etc. like it was a fete accompli.

Anyone know if this is true? I voted for, and was personally pulling for Pigboy Matthews (Tweety sounds too cute for what he's become...) so we wouldn't have to listen to his BS on Harball every night.

Tony Snow???? Can anyone confirm or deny this?

TC

FOX News' Tony Snow Among Possible White House Spokesman Candidates

Wednesday, April 19, 2006

WASHINGTON With a few personnel shifts going on in the White House, there's speculation that presidential spokesman Scott McClellan may be looking to step down.

One of the people the White House has approached as a possible replacement for McClellan is FOX News Radio host Tony Snow. The White House discussed the possibility with Snow as recently as this week.

Snow, who hosts "The Tony Snow Show," once served as a speechwriter for President George H.W. Bush.

Other people have also been approached about the position, including former Pentagon spokeswoman Victoria Clark and Dan Senor, the former Coalition Provisional Authority spokesman in Iraq, who served the U.S. civil administrator in Iraq, Paul Bremer.

23. I know Tony Snow has been picked, but I gotta go with Baghdad Bob
He has proven experience in lying with a straight face even with a solid refutation of his words right in front of him (or, at least, passing directly behind him).

That's the kind of person Bush needs.

It's a shitty job. I certainly wouldn't want it. I'm surprised Scotty lasted as long as he did.

I really blew it by not adding Stephen Colbert to a tag-team with Jon Stewart.

Or tag-team: Michael Moore and Cindy Sheehan.
