would not have voted for the resolution. Another acceptance for some of the blame.

5. It was planned on Tuesday
but Senate floor time was hard to come by with the stalemate over immigration.

It is a contrast, someone who served making a speech about changing our course in Iraq.

Versus a CIC who might also serve time, but in a different way.

8. And introducing a resolution into the Senate
that puts his OpEd ideas on withdrawal by May15th unless the Ira Govt shows good faith and puts together a Government and Withdrawal by end of the year if they do.

Good job.

11. Kerry is talking about the need for 'real diplomacy'
Did people see the story where the Condi Jack Straw 'fly-in' into Baghdad actually made things worse.

Sigh! Kerry is not talking about fly-by negotiating, but serious teams that bring all the sides together. Nice.

12. He's put a lot of thought into this, and he's been to Iraq
numerous times. I really trust him, which is more than I can say for just about anyone else in politics.

13. It's a common sense approach
The IRaqis have to put their country back together. If they won't make the first moves and come to some sort of consensus, then we get full-on civil war. The US should NOT be there in a full-on civil war.

The IRaqis also need some help from the Arab neighbors. They have the greater stake in stability there. The US is very hampered in this due to Bush Admin bungling.

18. Oh God. A Biden-McCain free zone for once
(I don't hate Biden, but geez, he gets on Sunday morning tv a lot.)

Excellent news. I'm happy to hear that. I hope that Tim Russert lets him speak. This really is a good plan.

Thanks for the info!

15. Afgahanistan is where the attention was and is needed
That is still where Al Qaeda is operating. That is where the real fight against terrorist tactics has to go.

Yeah, Read the James Risen Book, Afghanistan is anything but stable.

25. Probably the 4:00 pm time slot.
Then he won't be on until 4:30 or so.

Oooooh:

Ignoring all warnings and history itself, in a flourish of ideological excess, the Administration has managed to make the ancient cradle of civilization look a lot like Vietnam. But there is a path forward if we start making the right decisions.

Wow!
