Of course he is. It is not as if he led a long public life where he developed a circle - large or small - of advisers and strategists who worked together to develop his view of this country. (OK, don't flame me. I know that "view" and "vision" are foreign words for the Bush family).

Seriously, has there been any other president with so little public service behind him than Bush?

Reminds me of a freeper-type I used to know, who had never even been outside the borders of his own state before I met him. It's certainly conducive to a narrow-minded view of the world.

12. this is exactly what I have been thinking....

in the past few days he has made some truly bizarre statements that, to me, appear to be calculated to show * understands the cost of war, but had the opposite affect, on me at least...

1). "No one likes beheadings."

and

2). "War causes concern among our people. I know that."


he has no empathy and certainly no genuine sympathy for those who have suffered in this war...those who have fought and died and the families and friends at home...and he doesn't understand why we don't have the same outlook he does...
