Jesus, what a waste of time, they call that a Liberal talk show? Pfffttt...I call it a coffee klatch. He gets three hours to ramble on and on about "girlfriend" going to the gym and yesterday TOLIET PAPER.

Yeah a few callers are able to swing the show to what its suppose to be but not much in three hours. Crap,I'd rather have more Bill Press or Thom Hartman. If I'm lucky I can catch Ed Schultz later on but not always. I listen to Liberal radio for opinions, information, ideas not a bunch of coffee klatch BS.

Wake up Sirius....

1. It is the one show I refuse to listen to on their lineup.

I would rather hear Thom Hartman also - really just about anyone but Bennett. He suffers from the delusion
that his listeners are enthralled with his personal life.

2. Agree, Bennett's show is really
just under the genre of "slice of life" radio. He should be on a different channel. Sirius TalkLeft needs more political voices.

"all about me", cynical, curmudgeon routine. Thankfully, later in the day, I can catch Young Turks and Stephanie Miller.

And, I :loveya: Thom Hartmann! MKJ

5. Thom Hartmann Fan Here Too!
Except for this week with Sam Seder hosting, I typically switch over to Thom's stream on AAR. I like Al Franken, but I prefer to listen to Thom.

I guess it's just a preference thing?

9. Yup,Hartmann is great....
So he only gets one hour and this Bennett garbarge goes on for three. Man...Sirius needs to look at doing a shuffle.

4. He's been doing a radio show so long
that he is clearly bored by the whole thing. It's pretty obvious that he'd rather he doing almost anything else other than a radio show.

6. He's a real slap in the face to people who got Sirius for the sole
reason of listening to Air America, and got stuck with Talk Left.

It's obvious he doesn't care about doing anything significant with his show, but you'd think the programmers would have a slight bit of shame offering his show to people who obviously would want something far, far better.

Everything about him is irritating. He sounds completely burned out. He occassionally rambles on about his days as a leftist in the 1960's, when he knew Abbie Hoffman, John Lennon. That would show you they had THEIR pathetic sides, too, if he's telling the truth, which I doubt.

Maybe someone can talk him into retiring.

7. He and Lynn Samuels are both horrendous
I have written them to request airing Stephanie and the entire Hartmann, to no avail.

8. I listen to him sometimes...
usually I listen to CSPAN or NPR though. All the above are right; he talks waaay too much about his health, and his girlfriend, and all sorts of crap that is boring as hell. He trashes everyone and everything else on the left - Cindy Sheehan, the march last September in DC, etc., etc.

Occasionally, I actually enjoy the show, but not very much.

I also can't stand Lynn Samuels, she's boring too, and her voice drives me crazy.

I like Bill Press, and Thom Hartman, and Big Ed, and I love the Young Turks.

It is a letdown in a way, I only got Sirius because they had Air America. The whole Marc Maron thing ticked me off, and now he's back but at 10pm Pacific time - that just screws me getting to hear him. Too bad Marc could'nt take over for Alex Bennett or Lynn Samuels.
