Katherine Armstrong did a heckuva job as the appointed Cheney spokeswoman
Cheney made his own case worse today by telling Bit Hume that he actually selected Katherine Armstrong to be the spokesperson for his hunting accident. First, he said the delay was done in the interest of "accuracy". Pretty much every single thing Katherine Armstrong put out in the initial report has been debunked-

She tried to blame the victim
She couldn't decide on whether or not there was alcohol
She said that Whittington was just mildly injured and talking and responsive
She is responsible for the "pride hurt more than anything" comment - this about a guy that was shot in the heart, neck and face who apparently thought he might be heading off to the morgue!!

It would be better for Cheney to say that K Armstrong was a loose cannon with her own version of the events. But he says she was the official spokesperson with the best account - which he then went on to deny himself in almost all particulars!

They are the Gang That Can't Lie Straight

1. did you mean to say Brit Hume, or did you actually called him, "Bit" Hume?
He really is nothing more than a, "BIT" though through his self-inflated ego he thinks he is some sort of powerful, all knowing, all wise, god on earth.

6. I think that the reason he's in intensive care, is they're afraid he'll
start talking. Nurse, nurse, this man needs more morphine...

I haven't seen any photos or heard of any interviews.

8. You and I know it, but the sheep don't!
The sheep dogs are barking so loudly that they don't get it either.

5. Now you see why none of them never want to be under oath
for 9-11, Katrina or any other mess they've created.

10. Pamela Willeford,
the actual witness has not made a statement. They got her out of there in a hurry and Darth kept refering to her as "the other hunter." A bungled Coverup.

11. Get The Armstrong Bus Ready
Crashcart was hoping the corporate media would "love" this cute southern lady and she'd save his ass with her exciting tale of how Whittington walked into Chenney's line of fire and yada yada. Just one problem...she wasn't a witness! In a later interview she said she thought it was Chenney who had been shot initially...she was in the car (probably mixing the next batch of shooters). Now if this defense doesn't work, expect Team Chenney (led by Mary Matalin) to trash this lady and turn her into a Hee-Haw character.

12. Bush said Cheney's appearance was "powerful"!
Powerful! But I guess that's how he views everything Uncle Dickie does. I said as I watched the interview - "this can't help him - he's basically denying the story they themselves put out!" But alas, no one seems to share my view.

13. Two more
She apparently stated initially that Cheney & Co didn't KNOW she was contacting her pal at the local paper.
She stated initially that she was only aware anything had happened when she saw people running toward the "party," and even then she thought perhaps Cheney had suffered a heart attack. Later she became an eyewitness.

14. CNN just said they tried to contact Armstrong about her contradictory
comments about being an "eyewitness" but she wouldn't return their call. Even they know she's full of it.
