Today on Face the Nation a very blase and cynical Schieffer along with
David Brooks (NYT) and Karen Tumulty (Time Magazine) agreed that Americans didn't really care about loosing a few stray rights and that we also accepted corruption as just a given in politics. I would be concerned except that I know there are probably only 24 other people watching the show besides myself. Disgusting.

2. Maybe if they explained how big money
managed to get the Prescription Drug Bill passed or any number of bills that has hurt the middle class, people might get a little more upset about it.

6. I can't stand Bob Sheiffer. I heard him admit a couple of months
ago that he initially supported the Iraq war. :wtf: What kind of crap is that for a so called anchor man to state. I don't want to hear about your views, Bob! I just want the news.

7. Maybe it's time we questioned Bob's journalistic integrity...
After all, he couldn't be turning his back on the principles and values of his country so that his brother continues to stay in these madmen's "good graces", could he? Would he? Maybe Bob needs to know that WE KNOW! We know and we won't forget.

PEACE.

9. Explain to me the "balance " in that lineup?
Karen Tumulty is a reporter for Time Mag, isn't she. That means she has a professional obligation
to keep it down the middle. Scheiffer the same. Brooks is a conservative
columnist. Let's see...two pretending to be neutral and one unabashed
conservative. Hmmmm. If they were loading a canoe it would have
tipped over a long time ago.
