"If the President wants a change in the FISA law, we will warmly receive
his request."

Anyone else concerned about this message from Dems now? I am. I fear that in the race to seem bipartisan and cooperative they will yet again throw out the baby with the bathwater.

3. Yes, it really ticks me off. Why not get rid of all the laws everywhere.
Everyone for themselves. 8 years of those damn repubs trying to pin anything on Clinton. The sleeze they came up with. The crap. The lies. Stopping the government from doing anything but looking for something they could get him on. Refusing to allow trials to be set after Clinton is out of office. And now we have a real criminal in the WH and the Democrats just want to change the laws so the poor creep doesn't have to worry about breaking that law. They let Reagan off the hook. They let Bush 1 off the hook. I want all the repubs in jail. Treason would be a good start. I would like a lot of the Democrats unemployed.

4. I think it's a sugar-coated barb. Makes the point that ** acted wrongly &
is the Dems' way of flexing their muscles by way of suggesting that he needs their permission to make changes to the FISA law. Doesn't say they'll give him the changes just that they would hear him out.
