Contact DNC: Save our Party--Filibuster Alito Now--send a message
Lets add DNC to the list right now.

http://www.democrats.org/page/s/contact

Dear DNC:

Get the word out to the Senate right away. If there is no filibuster and Alito is accepted, the party is on it's way to splintering.

They will end or greatly restrict Roe and other vital programs, including Civil Rights, in a matter of weeks.

The public will see the Democrats as the great enablers of this process. They will be open to alternatives.

Our party hangs by a thread now. We are absent strong leadership and bold action. Alito won't kill us immediately but in short order.

Tell them to filibuster, get in line. Our future is on the line. I want my party to prevail.

Thanks.

5. Looks like it's one fax to a customer....
I sent a fax yesterday...tried to do it again today and was informed that "(I) had already taken action on all the issues."
:argh:

Just for the record...I have repeatedly called both my senators, written emails...and spent two hours earlier this week signing petitions listed here.

12. I'll be done too.
If they don't filibuster and I change my registration to Independent, they'll all care what I think come campaign season. I live in NH and every four years we're swamped with presidential candidates. My sister is an Independent. For every phone call I get, she gets five. John Kerry actually came to her DOOR to ask for her vote! Hmmmmmmmm. I think I want a divorce.

15. SCOTUS is WHY we vote for "lesser of two evils" Democrats!
That's what I wrote to DNC and part of what I am saying in my calls, emails, etc.

message to DNC:
The Supreme Court is the reason so many of us vote for "lesser of two evils" Democrats. PLEASE convey to our Democratic Senators that it is essential that they filibuster Alito both to retain credibility AND to retain some semblance of power in the Legislative Branch of our Government! This Administration is rapidly rendering the Senate powerless, and Alito supports ever-expanding Executive powers! For the preservation of their own effectiveness and of our Constitutional system of checks and balances, our Senators must assert the legitimacy of the Senate's "Advise and Consent" function. Thank you. Filibuster.

16. GREAT STUFF...Poiuri it on!!!!!!!!!!!!

Make it hurt. Our leaders are not the custodians of democracy, we are!

They work for us, we pay the bill, lets tell them the TRUTH.

This is a drop-dead issue. Avoid accepting the Democratic Responsibility at your Own Peril.

Bork,

Farnsworth, and

Carswell

would all be on the Supreme Court were it not for tough Democrats.

Show some f'ing balls already!
