That makes it sound like he "broke the law". Which, as he clearly stated, he did not break the law. Of course, he did not follow the law because it was outdated. But he did not "circumvent" it. Got it?

3. The 'law' is an inconvenience.
The Imperium need not be inconvenienced by outmoded legislation and dusty old constitutional documents. The Imperium seeks only to make us safe and to do so it must not be inconvenienced.

4. He probably doesn't know what "circumvent" means.
That word is not in the Republican talking points and Condi hasn't gone over it with him yet. Maybe they will cover that subject in next week's presidential tutoring session. Did Bush forget to put that gadget on his back -- you know, the one that transmits the answers to questions into his ear so that he knows what to say? Sounds like it.

7. "Circumvent" hasn't come up yet on Chimpy's Word-A-Day Calendar.
I forgot what today's word was. It's easy to tell because he usually repeats it twice with great emphasis, pausing briefly after speaking it so people notice.

14. You are very observant.
I too have noticed that little "Ain't I smart," pause when Bush speaks. I loved his quote about Germany. As I recall he very proudly stated something to the effect that Germany is in the center of Europe as if he believed his statement was some amazingly erudite little know fact. WHAT AN IDIOT! I'm sorry, but how did he ever get into Yale much less graduate from Yale. I'm beginning to wonder what a degree from Yale is really worth. Sorry, Yale grads. Some of my Yale grad friends are brilliant. But Bush . . . . .

9. The guy is under so much pressure he is near sweating blood.
After a month of the administrations strenuous defense, Bush still doesn't have a majority of the people convinced' he shouldn't be impeached if he directed unlawful domestic surveillance.

Unfortunately he already told them he did it. Attempts to try to change the marketing by changing the label aren't going to work for him. After a month long defense Bush hasn't satisfied the American people's wish to have a real investigation.

If the American people get their desire, and Constitutional scholars openly discuss the issue in televised hearings Bush will be finished and he knows it.
