Ted Kennedy to Publish Children’s Book: “My Senator and Me”
Here's some feel good news in the midst of the madness going on with the Alito hearings and Abramoff and all the scandals...

Ted Kennedy to Publish Children’s Book: “My Senator and Me”
January 9, 2006

Ted Kennedy is publishing a children’s book for Scholastic Inc. Kennedy’s co-protagonist in the book is his Portuguese Water Dog, Splash.

According to Scholastic, Kennedy was inspired to write “My Senator and Me: A Dogs-Eye View of Washington, D.C.” from his work with a Washington-based reading program, “Everybody Wins!” The book “not only takes readers through a full day in the Senator’s life, but also explains how a bill becomes a law.”

4. Here's Senator Frist!
I like him, we have a lot in common. I like to chase cats, and he likes to experiment on them!

Oh, and here's Senator Hutchinson. Let's go hump her leg!

I used to like visiting the White House. Buddy was my friend, and we used to chase Socks everywhere. I don't like to go there now. Barney is a yapper, and Mrs. Beasley is never in heat. And India the cat swiped me across the nose! :D
