Total and complete Republican policy failure but they want to stay the...
...course. Am I the only one who gets really, really, REALLY pissed off by that attitude?

Their tax cuts are a failure. Their Iraq war is a failure. Their cuts in social programs are a failure. Their management is a failure. Their emergency response is a failure. Their ethics are a failure. Their national security is a failure. Their management of the military is a failure. Their budgeting is a failure. One needs to ask what they HAVEN'T failed at!!! And they want to STAY THE COURSE?!!! Are they INSANE?!!

If they actually adjusted their policies when things didn't work, I wouldn't be so freaking angry. But they just give us all the finger as America collapses, and blather on about staying the course.

:mad: :mad: :mad:

I can't stand this anymore. I really can't.

1. I have a different take
"Insanity is doing the same thing over and over --- and expecting a different result."

Proves that they are insane (no offense to people actually uner treatment).

2. It is annoying
The right wingers love to say that slogan - Stay the Course Stay the course Stay the course

It is like the Captain on the Titanic hears the lookout say - "Iceberg dead ahead!" and he repiles "We must stay the course!"

3. They see it as a success
because the richest investors are getting richer and richer. They reason all that money will have to be invested someplace, and that will eventually improve the economy as a whole.

What they forgot is that no rich man ever invested a dime in any industry that didn't have customers crying for its product.

You can't strangle the spending class with artificially maintained poverty without destroying the larger economy. We're no longer at the point that we can salvage anything. It's going to fall. What we're seeing in their "stay the course" rhetoric is a hope that they'll be able to steal or skim enough to be able to ride out the comming depression.

4. They are doing the jobs they were hired for:
* to increase the wealth of the already wealthy, and reduce their tax liabilities;
* to cash-cow the public sector of all its liquidable assets;
* to run up public debt without substantially raising interest rates or inflation;
* to make what's left of government small enough to drown in a bathtub;
* and, to transfer assets offshore where investments can see higher returns.

By these measures, they have been astonishingly sucessful.

5. Every policy and action are failures because all are based on big lies,
humongous lies that are repeated many times daily to the sheeple, the brainwashed, and the brain-dead with the help of the propaganda arm, most of the MSM.
