Great bit of history that all DUers might appreciate

This is Crossfire from 1986, "On the left, Tom Braden; on the right, Robert Novak."

Guests: Frank Zappa and John Lofton (Moonie Times)

It's eerie how freeper whores back then give such a reflection of what we would have to deal with today, also it's hilarious seeing what a Buckley wannabe Novak was back then.

There's also the "companion piece": http://www.ifilm.com/ifilmdetail/2664570 (1987, when Kinsley took over)

What's also fascinating is how FZ gives a great, inadvertant lesson in how to handle winger-monkeys in a debate situation.

1. I've seen that before and it's great
That Lofton is a real tool. It's spooky how Frank Zappa predicted the country was going to become a fascist theocracy. Novak laughed at him, but he was very insightful for 1986.
