National Geographic: Arlington Cemetary

If you get a chance to watch this special, do so. Like nothing else I have seen in recent months, this special reminded me of how much I love this country and how proud I am to be an American. Of how truly amazing the people who defend this country really are and how much they and their families have sacrificed for all of us. There was something so sombre and touching about the Private who earned the right to be a guard at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. It was just a really affecting, interesting special for anyone who loves and respects this country.

3. I am not sure. It's funny, cause I didn't think we would enjoy it...

and watched it mostly because there wasn't anything else on. But both my husband and I found ourselves getting teary eyed more than once. Our local PBS station usually shows stuff like this several times, so I guess you should check your local listings and see if it is playing again any time soon.
