Does anyone ever read what the right says on some of their discussion forums? There is some extreme stuff out there. My hobby is archery. I used to go to www.bowsite.com to big game forums and to community forum. Man there are some radical people on there! Check it out if you have a chance.

1. Hey SON, I ended up on "GodHatesAmerica" the other night - it's

wayyyyy beyond "extreme" - they hate EVERYBODY: B*sh, US troops, New Orleans and everyone in it and, most likely, you and me. I didn't stay long enough to figure out who they DO like, cuz it was nasty in there. My first such experience on the 'net...whew. Nightmarish and truly beyond comprehension.

2. The gun nut forums are a right wing puddle of pus

for what are obvious reasons...

I think my favorite alltime screwiness was the bunch of nutless weenies who flew into a rage over "Mothering" magazine, for no apparent reason...

My second was the time a bunch of gun loonies all declared they saw the faced of Ronald Reagan in a weather bureau's cloud photo...

3. I read Stormfront every now & then

I used to browse the Combat 18 fourm, but now you have to sign up to view it & frankly I can't be arsed. Vanguard News Network is another particularly crazy place.

The Brits over at Stormfront have got a project currently on the go, to make an archive of "British" film and literature. The whole discussion is unintentionally hilarious, but the mentality of the guy who started it all off is, well, see for youself:

The Tom Hanks remake prompted another viewing of The Ladykillers, the original Ealing version of course.

A couple of observations:

- I'd forgotten the film was in Technicolor, somehow we always think of 1950s British film as black and white only.

- It was remarkable seeing a complete film shot in London without a single darkie in view. How times have changed.

Alec Guinness is of course superb, as was Katie Johnson as Mrs. Wilberforce. Full marks also to General Gordon (the parrot). And Peter Sellers in what must have been one of his very early roles.

Any other recommendations? - don't worry who financed the film - it's the creative input that counts.

VNN is a far nastier place though. The people there can barely write a sentance without uttering something racist, anti-semitic or homophobic (it's not "television", it's the "jew-tube" - etc)

4. (Found it) An important read about the far-right infiltrating other forums

Whilst I'm not accusing anyone here of anything, I have noticed people posting links to David Irving's website, American Free Press, whatreallyhappened.com, TBRNews & similar places - though I believe it is out of ignorance of their true agendas. What follows is a couple of posts from a thread about guiding people to Stormfront.org & converting people to the white supremacist/neo-nazi way of thinking. 'Third Position' folks do similar with anti-globalization discussion.

I've been having success today posting this stealth article from Altermedia/EURO onto forums that ordinarily won't take our kind of subject matter. This article is read closely and commented on with great interest on any of the Left leaning forums that I've posted it on. It has just the right amount of measured truth to get it to successfully pass moderation and it still packs a punch, not to mention that David Duke is mentioned. I took the liberty to attach a number of embedded reference links to the names in the piece as camouflage and then added one to Dr. Duke's name which will send the reader to the Duke Radio Archives. Given the choice I believe most sleepwalkers who are subconsciously aware of the importance of White preservation will click on a link featuring David Duke over the others --

Last week one of our "pro-gun democrats" (lots of pro-gun; not so much democrat) started a thread claiming WE needed to run out and buy guns now because "freepers" didn't think HE meant business (think: Bob Boudelang demands YOU take viagra because HE can't get it up).

Which caused a bunch of gun loonies on one of those right wing cesspools to start a thread there linking to that thread here, so that the imbeciles could come in and troll...
