Sen. Reid and the Dems on this. Frist is pulling a publicity stunt right now and it will backfire on him. He must be scared or he would not be doing this.

I think we should let these Rethugs know that the American people support the Dems, the investigations and whatever measures are necessary to fight the culture of corruption and cronyism.

4. I didn't write a masterpiece, but here is what I said.

I am writing to let you know that this Amercian citizen heard you and your constituents' comments that Senator Reid's decision to start a closed session was a result of Democrats not wanting to deal with budget cuts. That Democrats are trying to impede this country from 'moving on'. That this is an affront to you and a slap in the face.

With all due respect, I don't think the Republican party understands what insult truly feels like. When soldiers are sent to war with no armor but Republicans try to make tax cuts for the wealthy permanent, THAT is a slap in the face. When the truth is purposely and unabashedly kept from the American people, THAT is an affront. When the President is content to keep people on his staff who commit treason, THAT is offennsive.

It's way past time we found out the truth about the dubious intelligence that helped lead us to war in Iraq. I support Senator Reid's call to action. SOMEONE has to act in the best interests of our nation. Maybe you should cooperate instead of smearing the people who are tired of America not getting the truth.

Went to Frist's site and got a "shutdown for maintenance" message. Sounds like Billy boy can't handle the heat. Screw him, I say. I will email him when it's all over and tell him that Reid was correct and until the cowardly majority party opens up an investigation, he should do this every day.

I might have some empathy for your outrage over Senator Reid's move to go into secret session if you and your Republican colleagues had operated fairly, honestly, and with transparency for the last 5 years or longer.

As things stand, your complaints are hollow.
