Is the DU a bust?

I'm worried that years from now when a psycho-fascist government takes over the U.S. (Worse than the one we have now) that I will be interrogated by government thugs who will pull out writings and opinions I expressed on the DU as grounds for having me arrested, locked
up, tortured or possibly killed. Am I not alone? Does anyone else worry about this possibility?

You have to stand up for what you think is right no matter if you might be arrested, tortured and killed. There is strength in the numbers of the opposition. Even though the amount of dissension isn't mentioned in the popular press, believe me the authorities have watched just how big and widespread it really is. If it weren't for all the protests from before the war until now, we might be living in a police state today. The reason we are not is because they are afraid to actually institute martial law because of this.

I am totally nonviolent. I totally support the Constitution of the United States and the Constitution of my state, California. I participate in the legal political process in my community. I am as law abiding in every respect as I can possibly be. If I get arrested for that, there is no point in going on.

We have to save our country from fascism. That's all there is to it. We have to have the courage to do it with our words and in a peaceful, law abiding way. Fear is the greatest weapon of the fascists and they are using it well at this time. But fear and fascism can be defeated by truth. Just keep patiently focusing on the truth, finding out the truth, and graciously and quietly telling the truth at every opportunity, and you have nothing to fear from fascism.
