I mean, it's like:

"I am going to jail to protect my source."

then she gets out and....

"O.K. My source is.... umm.... can't remember."

Am I missing something? I haven't seen anyone pointing out the contradiction here.

Edit:

After reading the responses so far, I still can't see why I shouldn't be dumbfounded at Miller's statement, or at the media's failure to point out the absurd nature of going to jail to protect a source whom you can't identify.

After reading the NYT article it's apparent that Miller has not told the truth to anybody. Fitz is gonna send her over for it. Buh Bye, Judy.

7. We have the goods on
you, J*dy. When your colleagues inform your editor that they do not trust you and can't rely on you it says a lot. Whatever you have said and whatever you have written in your noteboods as aids de memoire, will have to be tracked with the testimony and evidence from other sources.
It's pretty sad, J*dy. You could have taken one of two winning paths--journalism if you had been able to seek the truth--or fiction.

Too bad you did not listen, as I am sure you had at least one friend who confronted you and told you to get a grip on your ego. It's really the worst poison, isn't it, J*dy?
