Tonight America Spoke in a united voice
Tonight America Spoke with a united voice and told this administration that "we want a change". For this message to get out through our media is a great accomplishment for us little people. The White House should be scared after tonight and the media should have egg on it's face. Tonight the American people showed in record numbers that they are sick and tired of the current administration in contrast to what the media has portrayed about all the Bush support in the weeks leading up to this primary.

1. New Hampshire is not America!
Edited on Tue Jan-27-04 10:40 PM by IndianaGreen
And neither is Iowa!

We are on the second inning of a nine inning game and as Yogi Berra used to say, "it ain't over until it's over!"

On to Super Tuesday!

BTW, there is no unity, either in the Democratic Party or in the country, when we are divided by the war.

2. America ?? Since when America coincides with a small NE state ?
Rather, 39% of NH people simply showed that they want business as usual...

5. A plurality is not a majority
and a majority of NH Democrats rejected John Kerry as a the presumptive nominee.

8. By your logic, then
74 percent rejected Howard Dean.

9. A majority of the electorate is rejecting the 2-parties altogether
by staying home and not bothering to vote.

3. Yeah, whatever
God knows the rest of our votes don't matter, right?

Hell, let's limit all elections to Iowa and New Hampshire, after all, only they really know how to vote :eyes:

7. If John Kerry becomes the Democratic nominee...
I predict we are going to see those Barney cam White House videos for another four Christmases.

10. You Dassn't Say That
You dassn't say that without a link. I've been saying that Kerry didn't earn his Silver Star, but I can't provide a link that agrees with me. So two threads were halted and I had to acknowledge a reprimand (which I think is really grade-schoolish). However, this idea isn't as out of left field as the mods here are pretending. I haven't been given the chance to argue the point.

DU is in effect taking positions of what Democrats may believe and what we may not believe. Imposing orthodoxy is not the sort of thing that attracts say, young voters. But you can see the mindset at work when they send you to the principal's office for blurting out something that they don't want to hear.

11. Honestly, Mr. Dreissig
If you cannot find a source for the smears, why should you expect anyone to take them seriously? Why should anyone be put to the trouble of rebutting them?
