I'm starting to think we need to take politics back to the very basics...
We need to ask people - 'Are you better off now than you were 5 years ago? If not, don't you think it's time for a change?'

There's a whole lot of argument that goes along with that, but that's the basic idea.

The reality is that the vast majority of Americans are NOT better off, Bush hasn't changed that, so the only option we have to try to improve our situation is change who's in charge.

1. It doesn't work
If you say that they just right back and say, but 9/11 happened. It would have been different, but 9/11 and on and on and on.

I have through this over and over with my mother-in-law.
