2. Dean is so DAMN AWESOME
He totally kicked Sean's ASS -- he got it out that Bush's tax cut really hurt the middle class and Sean could not even reply -- he had to change the subject to the scream and Dean just laughed it off!!

F'n A-W-E-S-O-M-E !!!!!

Says taxes should be raised on buisnesses.

6. Really?
>Dean said the middle class is over taxed. Says taxes should be raised on buisnesses.

Strike him off the list. As a small business owner, I can't afford to pay anymore in taxes.

8. I Thought He Was Referring to Big Business
I heard the interview, and Dean was referring to the large corporations that have benefitted from Pretzelboy's policies. Not small businesses.

12. We'll See.
If more large corporations start laying off people in order to cut costs to pay increased taxes and keep their profit margins where they have been, that's going to hurt me, too.

I need to investigate this further when I have the time. :)

14. In 1973, corporations paid 40% of federal income tax revenues
Last year, the corporate contribution was down to 16.8%.

Something's got to change.

20. Dean has spoken extensively on small businesses
and I've never heard him speak about raising taxes for the "little man" (my words). Part of Dean's platform and speaking points are specifically about energizing small businesses to stimulate this economy. He talks about it as much as he talks about getting special interests and BIG business out of politics. He talks about the rising costs of providing healthcare to employees if you are a small business and also paying several different kinds of taxes to include your self-employed status (I'm not a tax person, so I don't understand all of those details, but it has given him good receptions in the places where I've heard him speak).

Maybe the website has something on that point?

10. Hey, I'm a small business owner too, and as long
as we all get our taxes increased the same, no problemo. Increase your markups by a similar amount, you'll still be competitive because everybody else will be doing the same thing. You are not an island.

25. Dean speaks often about small business.
I have yet to hear it from the others. If nothing else, I think small businesses are safe from Dean.

I'd give almost anything to be able to hear this! Hannity would be such an easy one for Dean. I'm laughing just thinking about it!

18. No surprise there
That's what gets me about the DLC argument that Dems need to be centrist to win. The voters who are that far "center" are gonna vote for Shrub!

21. I just heard it too and........
I don't think Dean made mincemeat out of Hannity. I don't think he wanted to. His objective was to get his message out. Which he did, as always. I think he could have had he really wanted to but I thought it was a good exchange between the two.

23. Dean is respectful of people, so I never assumed he was
making fun of Hannity. The exchange, however, would be a fun one to hear or read.

24. Something I've noticed about RW pundits....
They're all bark and no bite. People like Hannity can say the most nasty stuff about people, but if that person is in front of their face, they soften the rhetoric.

We think of them as masculine type of bullies when really, their bully behavior is more feminine. Remember high school? you had the male bullies starting physical fights, and the female bullies started rumors or trash talked behind people's backs but remained somewhat civil to their face.

Remember when Tucker was sooo nice to Hillary Clinton when she surprised him by coming to the set of Crossfire? Hannity does this crap too and I think it's hilarious. All bark and no bite.

I taped it. I can post it later. Is this against rules? Just a five-minute interview. I'll put it up tonight after the primary party I'm going to, if that's okay...?

31. "Hannity can't think on his feet"
I love that one!!!

Something too about Ann Coulter would do damage to Dean's balls if she had a talkshow.

Good lord, they're delusional!
