Bush is the Goat, Coast Guard is the Hero in Katrina aftermath...

We've talked a lot about how the Bush Administration let us all down in their response to the Katrina disaster.

But I think we also need to talk about the Hero of the story - the Coast Guard. They were the FIRST SIGN of anyone doing anything to help victims of Katrina. They didn't wait around for someone to tell them to go to work. And they have worked tirelessly since.

I would love to see Bush prosecuted for what he's done, but I'd also like to see every Coast Guard member who participated in rescuing people in the aftermath of Katrina recognized and honored for their excellent work. They may be the only thing Americans have to feel proud of in this mess.

Bush is the Goat. The Coast Guard is the Hero.
