ABC Good Morning America - * says ZERO TOLERANCE re: Looters!
Even people getting food/water for their families should be arrested!

WHAT A PIECE OF SHIT PRESIDENT!!!

And!

Re: gas prices, Diane Sawyer asked him if oil companies should cut profits, even a conservative host said a 20% cut in this time of crisis.

*'s response? Avoided the question and said he wanted to see corporations give money to charity organizations to help out in the south.

10. this was my first thought
when they said they were sending NG in to stop looting.

THE NG SHOULD BE HELPING EVACUATE AND SAVE LIVES, NOT PROTECT THE CORPORATIONS!

To put this in perspective, the response to 9/11 required the services of one Type 1 Incident Management Team. There are four deployed to Katrina as of yesterday plus all the other teams listed above.

3. Here's another good one that wasn't shown (Diane just mentioned this)
She's saying now she asked him about air drops of water and food and his response was that it was not very efficient.

WHO CARES?! These people are literally dying of thirst!

11. If any military fails to comply, they will be sent to "Running Man"
and required to participate in Richard Dawson's futuristic game show a la the Gropinator who refused to attack "innocent civilians whose only crime is hunger" (or words to that effect) Great move, Mr.Prez, make sure you act once again against the interest of the people to promote the interests of big business. Save the people you helped put in this situation when you drained the levee reinforcement money for your Iraq debacle. Be a leader for once in your damned life.

12. In my opinion
a major factor in this "zero tolerance" policy for looters is because the looters are of the wrong demographics to this fascist piece of shit in the White House.

15. I saw some of this sickening stuff this morning
What is it with * that everytime the SOB gets asked a troubling question, he responds with a smirk or nasty grin? It seemed like every question Sawyer asked him evoked that twisted patented grimace of his. People are dying. *smirk* People are homeless. *smirk*
Why isn't the Gov acting more quickly? *smirk* Loathsome POS

And Sawyer's eyes were all over the room. Was she supposed to avert her eyes from * countenance, or maybe she just couldn't bear to look at *?

17. I got an idea
Why don't we evacuate the city while we supply the city at the same time? (so the food/water scavenging can be separated from the looting type of scavenging) In a week or so, there won't be anyone left in NO to loot anything, anymore. In addition, an evacuated person cannot very well carry a plasma TV with them, so there will be no benefit or potential benefit from looting.

And more people's lives can be saved. How many rooftops have a person suffocating or overheating just underneath it?

The insistence on protecting abandoned property (not occupied property, which would be violence, not looting) at the expense of a huge, unquantifiable humanitrian crisis is sickening. Of course, it is something I have come to expect from the sociopathic piece of crap occupying the White House.
