Gannon: Gay bloggers’ dangerous liaisons (Yep, THAT Gannon!)
Psuedo-"journalist"/real gay prostitute Jeff Gannon has resurfaced writing a column in the gay publication The Washington Blade:

One of the greatest technological advances in the history of civilization enabled anyone with a laptop and a DSL connection to become part of the process to decide the future of America.

But some gay activists have been exploiting this new medium to advance a political agenda that doesn’t reflect gay people in general. Instead of focusing on the key issues that affect the lives of men and women throughout the United States, they appear bent on tearing down the Bush administration no matter the damage to the country as a result.

<snip>

THE WEB SITES of these activists have become populated with extreme elements who seek to compromise America’s security and cripple its economy. Intelligent debate over issues and strategies is crushed by expressions of blind rage and conspiracy theories.

<snip>

The gay community runs the risk of being marginalized by these associations and with it any hope of advancing its broader agenda. It is already being taken for granted by one political party, some of whose members are blaming gay issues for losses in last year’s elections.

Yeah, right, Jeffy ... or Jimmy ... or Bulldog ... or whoever you are this week. Go back to what you do best: not bumping you head on steering wheels while you pick up a quick $20.

2. hate to admit it but he is partiall right
we have party "leaders" who did blame the gay community for Kerry's loss last year

but then again, I don't think there are too many Democrats, unlike some Repukes, who want to throw us into concentration camps

If I had the luxary to worry about issues like national security and the economy as a whole, maybe I'd be more in tune with what good old Bulldog is saying, but as long as it's legal in however many states to fire someone for simply being gay, to deny them housing, healthcare, etc for simply being gay, I've got more pressing every day things to worry about

but thanks Bulldog for your concern about us

3. Seems he's not too fond of the excellent work done by Rawstory
on exposing him as a FAKE REPORTER. And so what now - Bush hates gay marriage but LOVES gay people? PLEEEASE. Jimmy/Jeff/Johnny really has a hard on for the Republicans don't he?

4. Maybe JimmyJeff has some first hand knowledge of how Bush LOVES gay people
He did spend a lot of time in the White House.

6. He did visit the White House A LOT
I love Rawstory - straight to the point and pulling no punches:

"Guckert made more than 200 appearances at the White House during his two-year tenure with the fledging conservative websites GOPUSA. and Talon News, attending 155 of 196 White House press briefings. He had little to no previous journalism experience, previously worked as a male escort, and was refused a congressional press pass."
