O'Reilly Factor: Newt Gingrich Lies About Ambassador Joseph Wilson
Last night the lead story on the O'Reilly Factor was (at long last!) Karl Rove - what he knew and when he knew it vis a vis Valerie Plame, wife of former Ambassador Joseph Wilson and, now, thanks to Rove, no longer a covert operative running an intelligence-gathering mission in the Middle East.

In the course of the interview Gingrich called Joe Wilson a liar.

However, Gingrich is the real liar here. He lied when he called Joe Wilson a "liberal Democrat." Quite the contrary is true - Wilson comes from an old-line entrenched California conservative Republican family. His uncle, Pete Wilson, was Governor of California from 1991 to 1999. He is NOT a mainline liberal Democrat by any stretch of the imagination. Once more, we see how the Republicans eat their own when he or she dares to point out error or deviate from the party line!
