Some pukes think scrubbo is like Churchill
I was listening to the Ed Schultz show today and some puke called in and said many republicans liken scrubbie to Churchill. At first I missed him saying Winston, so I thought he meant Mortimer Churchill or Ignatz Churchill.
His reason? You'll love this..."Because of the way he (the srcub) held this country together during his presidency is so Churchill-like."
I was unaware that Churchill constantly blamed the back-benchers and opposition members of Parliament for anything bad that went on during the war. I was unaware that Churchill had lied repeatedly to the British Public so he could go to war. I was unaware that he used fear and intimidation to get the people to back him.
Man, there's a lot about Churchill I didn't know.

1. These folks have totally lost it....
There's a reason 4.2% have mental problems....And they're believing in this bullshit madeup history of Rush Limbaugh now, its no wonder.

For reference, Winston Churchhill is the farthest thing from Bush as the moon is from pluto.

So Bush is obviously NOT like Churchill. I'm surprised they haven't compared him to FDR yet. Please don't.

3. I can't stand the bad WWII comparisons
In WWII, the British were in danger of literally losing their country. Literally being occupied by the Nazis. In 2001, we were in no danger, not even in a parallel universe, like bizzaro world, of being occupied by Islamic fundamentalists. The only danger we are in of losing our country is when we have to sell it to China and the Saudis because of our massive debt.

6. I heard that guy, too.
He claimed that he wasn't up on politics and then proceeded to prove it. Schultz gave him more time than I would have and the guy just launched into a laundry list of talking points. Every time I hear that shit I crap a little. I just about get myself convinced that the other side couldn't possibly be as bad as I make them out to be, then this piss-ant shows up and ruins everything.

7. Why...
must the republican party and its followers try to compare him to other great leaders. First it was Reagan, then parellels to FDR and Churchill, why can't they just measure him up to his own standard. Oh wait, cause he hasn't done much that can be considered good for our nation or the global community, that's why.
