...Repub and Dem alike turn on their own in a heartbeat, at the first perceived "betrayal."

The difference is most FReepers are stolid loads who have to receive official orders (in words of two syllables or less) in order to form a semi-competent Circular Firing Squad, while too many on our side seem to be having a frenetic contest to "out" the most "DINOs" in the shortest time possible, regardless of...well, reality.

Last time I pointed this out, shriekers and screechers immediately took my words out of context to peg me as a Zell Miller defender. But we're not talking about Zell this time, are we?

seriously. I don't know where this crap comes from: there has to be some common source of this misinformation. I have no idea what it is, but I wish it would frickin' stop already.


It's not the first time it's been done to Obama, either - I've seen a ton of posts here in the recent past from people under the impression he voted to confirm Gonzales. Which he did NOT.

Seriously, people: http://www.senate.gov/ is your FRIEND. You can search any bill, any vote, etc., and it'll give you who voted what, straight from the clerk's keyboard. I always check it before posting about something if I have any doubts at all.

Going off on a hysterical rant against anyone without having your public-info, easily-verifiable facts completely straight is Freeper behavior, and it makes "us" look just as ignorant and irrational when "we" do it.
