I'm off to the NH 100 Club Annual Dem Dinner with all candidates
Any messages to pass to anyone in particular? Rally starts at 4:30 and my guy Dr. Dean speaks at 6. Don't know the speaking order for the others but I'll upload some pics of all of them if my seat is ok.

I'll check back here after my shower ... ;)

Jealousy is not a good thing!

13. I heard two interesting and amazing statements yesterday
The first was Bill Clinton speaking at the international economic conference in Switzerland. My ears perked up up when he said 25 terrorist cells were rolled up before 9/11, 27 have been rolled up since then. Unbelievable that we have spent billions of dollars and imposed the patriot act on americans, to have internationally accomplished rolling up only 2 more cells? Of course it should be put in the context of length of time he was referring to, but it seems to me that this is very good campaign fodder.
The other factoid was from PBS last night - historically the stock market has seen more gains under a democratic presidency than a republican presidency. The wall street "gurus" gave an obvious pro-republican theory saying it was due to who inherited what from whom, but the fact remains, wall street has historically and consistently done better under a democratic president. Pass on the info for someone to use.

16. Ohmygod I'm so jealous (and happy for you...but mostly jealous)
Please tell:

-My man Clark to keep showing the integrity and class he's shown, and keep being tough with the media whores and RNC when it tries to smear him.

-Dean that if not for him there wouldn't be this intense focus on the Iraq war (esp huge given that WMD's were officially not found), and to keep it up while also continuing to focus on solutions.

-Edwards not to let the RNC demonize attorneys who help protect the public and make corporate juggernauts take responsibility for their negligence.

-Sharpton to keep the pressure on for all to have a voice in this
party and country, and to keep making us laugh and think at the same time.

-Kucinich that he's the best humankind can produce, and I agree with the great Gore Vidal: DK will be the leader of a powerful progressive force soon. In a sane country he already would be. Tell him to hang in there; we must have his voice in the mix to keep the more conciliatory pols on track. For example...

-Kerry that his attacks on the other candidates are not appreciated by their supporters, and his declaration that statements that
Bush was AWOL were "over the top" were hypocritical (he's stated
the same in the past) and all to typical of a shape shifting lifer pol.

Ask why we should trust him in light of the above, and given the fact that he voted for the IWR and Patriot Act and he can't come up with credible excuses for all those dead bodies. Ask if he knows that the man he claimed to trust with war had stolen an election shortly before. Ask if he knows that David Kay said there are no WMDs, and haven't been since the end of the gulf war.

And ask if his watch is set five minutes fast, as is the Skull & Bones tradition, to symbolize that Bonesmen started life with a leg up?

Got all that?! :)
