Sellouts Will Become Order of Day
Yeah, we got a great deal by avoiding the nuclear/constitutional/Byrd option. Dems can now NEVER filibuster nominees without approval of 7 GOP-ites. Including John McCain, winger extraordinaire. Guess what? We will NEVER see a time when our GOP masters agree that the situation is "extra-ordinary" enough to filibuster.

Ann Coulter for the Supreme Court? Not really extraordinary. Neither any of her clones.

And now, there is a rumor of "compromise" on social security. This writer predicts: sell out by the Dems. On an issue we are winning on.

The filibuster agreement simply makes the GOP look "moderate" because they do not give 100% of what the Nazi-Christians want. Yeah, only 99%.

We were sold out on the bankruptcy bill, and now on the filibuster.

Folks, the Greens were right. More proof comes in every day. And our democracy is at an end - with fascism midwifed by our Dems in Congress.

4. Thanks for the "anti-yawn"
Like the old comedian Jimmy Durante used to say "I got a million of 'em!" The ONLY place Dems are looking good is on Social Security. But look for that to change, in the Bushies' favor.

O! Hillary! Why?

7. Like Yogi Berra said
"You could look it up." Any compromise on SS is the end of the Dem party for decades. Of course, I am not the first to say that. But I won't be the last.

6. Yep.
At the end of the day, the republicans were given the green light on the three worst judges and the dems gave them political cover. My guess is that they'll do it on SS as well. BEWARE the SS "compromise".

(And didn't the bizarre and near-unanimous corporate media conclusion that the dems won seem a bit improbable?)
