Democrats Serve Republican Economic Values Better Than Republicans
Democrats Serve Republican Economic Values Better Than Republicans
3 April 2005

LA Times columnist Michael Kinsley points out in his column today that Democrats do a better job serving Republican economic values, than the Republicans do. This is not something we haven’t heard before, but it’s good to keep reminding people, that the Democrats are the party of economic values, not the Republicans. Because, as Kinsley says, “it hasn't really sunk in how completely the Republicans have abandoned allegedly Republican values — if, in fact, they ever really had such values.”

The values I'm referring to are widely shared. We all want prosperity, we oppose unemployment, we dislike inflation, we don't enjoy paying taxes, etc. They're Republican only in the sense that Republicans are supposed to treasure them more, and to be more reluctant to sacrifice them for other goals, such as equality or clean air.

5. Republicans only pretend to have these values so everything can be either
or. Either save the whales or have a job. Sometimes when they analyze the impact of a particular reform from a business stand point it sounds more like they're threatening the public. ie, "If you pass this bill not only will we be forced to cut jobs, but we're also going to have to tie you to a chair all day while you are at work"

6. Democrats are the Party of Good Information. Repukes are the Party
Full O ****. That is the truth.

Repukes use the markets to get benefits for the elites and bait and switch economic corrections so that the rich don't have to pay their share. The whole of the corrections falls on the middle class and the workers.

Repukes & this WH are just a band of hypocrites who represent nothing but lies.

Warren Buffet makes billions off of speculation that America's economy is tanking while Bush & his ilk encourage Americas to buy houses and go into debt... just at a time when America would be in for some deflation (like germany & Japan have faced as they met world trade).

Shamefull bunch of ***holes in the WH.
