Eating their own in Freeperville...

Mr. President, there's nothing you can say to smooth over or whitewash that national disgrace that happened under your watch. Your public surrender to the liberal judges (sic)hard to watch, perhaps almost as repulsive as watching this innocent woman slowly starve to death while you did your best immitation (sic) of a Frenchman.

This is the worst speech he has ever given, bar none. His polls will continue to drop and the talking heads will continue to ignore the real cause, instead attributing it to Social Security reform or the war in Iraq.

I hate to say it, but the political impact is there will never be another Bush elected anywhere, ever. After a brief statement on "culture of life", President Bush is standing next to Chuck Robb talking about intelligence reform now. This is not the time to try to change the subject. Governor Bush's statement was equally weak. What a shame, leadership is needed. The ball has been dropped and they will not recover from this.

1. I once suggested that
All the votes should be counted at the site (re: Washington gubentorial election) and I was banned. Seriously.

3. Yeah
Damn those Republican, conservative Southern Baptist judges who enforce established statutory and caselaw!

Long before I knew of FR, I made up a phrase that is so appropriate to the process of their thoughts: the art of nimrodery.

5. Well, he didn't say what they want him to say.
What would be a satisfying statement to them would be an announcement that he has issued an executive order declaring war against all the godless and communist blue states. That all monies and property belonging to the residents there would be confiscated and distributed to his supporters and that said residents would be sent to concentration camps on the Alaskan Tundra. It would also call for the abolishment of The Democratic Party as a terrorist organization and that all Democratic Party officials were to be shot at sunrise.

That would mollify them a bit. For a while. Then they would start on something and someone else.

7. These people are insane
Leadership is needed? What, making funeral arrangements? I mean, come on.

And the so-called "liberul judges." Er, huh?

Reality does not intrude in these people's minds.

Edited on Thu Mar-31-05 12:49 PM by stopbush
when the presiding judge in FL was an R as was the Bush-appointed guy who declared Terri's Law unconstitutional yesterday...and a Clinton appointee was one of them on the appeals court who voted for the Shindler's motion while the Rs voted agin.

Amazing.

8. Doesn't matter if it's MSM or blogs
The repukes are going to protect their own at all costs, as long as they're rich or powerful. These people on FR are just normal, run of the mill, 2nd class citizens (no disrespect intended) JUST LIKE THE REST OF US!

We are all expendable!

13. I knew this would happen...
the freepers and fundies (who have no interests other than their own greed & selfishness) have turned on the Bushies like rabid dogs because they think Jeb and W failed to serve their interests.

Not that I'm sad or anything, I think it can only help us that this happened.

18. I have been wondering when the fundies would go so far overboard
that "normal" people finally saw how crazy they are....

Is this the issue that does it? Sad if that is true... something that should have been so private. I can not imagine making the life and death decisions we did with my grandmother in front of the whole country.
