Tort reform??

WASHINGTON -- A Virginia jury last night awarded the wife of Sen. Rick Santorum $350,000 in damages after she charged in a lawsuit that a Virginia chiropracter's negligence caused her permanent back pain.

I'm sure Sen. Santorum advised his wife not to pursue such frivolity.

5. Ooooo Goody! More famaging evidence against him for 2008!
I don't know if the loser is going to appeal of not, but this is yet another tidbit against dear old Ricky and his potential run for Pres in 2008!

Keep a list folks, we're gonna need it!

6. There is a bright spot in this. Think of her saying to him "not
tonight honey, I have a backache."

12. More ethically questionable behavior by Santorum-
How about the way he managed to funnel campaign contributions into his personal bank account by getting his campaign's ad agency to hire the one and the same wifey-poo as a $4,000 a month "consultant".

Wow! What a lady! She home schools all 6 of their children (with a little illegally attained financial help from Penn Hills School District) and also manages a consulting job! Oh, but wait, the company can't think of a single new client she steered their way. Sounds clearly UNETHICAL to me.

13. A couple of other tidbits of info related to this case
First, the judge reduced the award to $175,000 citing "undue sympathy" elicited by the Santorums related to his position as a US senator.

And second, the Santorums petitioned the court to have all records related to the case sealed. I guess when you're a sanctimonious right wing hypocrite, your first instinct is to try to hide the evidence of your hypocrisy.
