7. Why can't we have common sense on this issue?

I advocate very strong border controls not just to stem the tide of illegal aliens but also to make it more difficult for would-be terrorists to get in the US. I would not restrict the authorities from pursuing illegal aliens deep inside US territory, and I would totally slam any firm that knowingly hires illegal aliens.

All I'm saying is that if people want to get into the US, then they should be allowed to do it, but it should NOT come at the expense of the law or every single person who does it the right way.

This issue has been plaguing us for decades. The blame lies squarely on the leaders of both parties in this case, as well as the corporatists who want to use illegal immigrants. They have failed us. :thumbsdown:

What also pisses me off is Vicente Fox's attempts to tell us on our side of the border what we should or should not do. He needs to butt out. :thumbsdown:
