What the HELL is going on with CNN / Aaron Brown?

Last night he was replaced with basically religious programming centering around the book Ashley read, and tonight it's People in the News with a bio about Ashley and plenty of religious content as well so far, at least for my taste.

What the hell hve they done with Aaron Brown? Has there been ANY discussion about all this? (I've been mostly off-line today and yesterday.)

How weird because they used to just have guest hosts not different programing when he was gone.

Plain, pure, and simple. They've been pulling this crap for the past couple of months. I've heard he's got a clause that says that he can't be moved out of primetime so my guess is that they are going to keep preempting him and humiliating him in public like this til he gets fed up and quits.

10. Under New Management

When the top-guy changed, there were rumblings that perhaps CNN might start reporting news again. Alas, it was not to be. It is worse... far worse and further right than ever.

This is really disturbing isn't it? I mean, sure one can just turn it off, and my household has done an admirable job doing just that, and yet... this shit is being beamed into livingrooms every evening all across the country.

Aaron Brown? It's not about the who, it is about the what.

The senior producer, Sharon Van Zwieten, who held the post for about a year, was succeeded by Wil Surratt, executive producer of CNN's morning show, ''American Morning,'' said Christa Robinson, a CNN senior vice president.

In informal remarks yesterday to the network's employees, Jonathan Klein, president of CNN's domestic operations, said, ''This move puts us in a better position to win,'' Ms. Robinson said. CNN is a unit of Time Warner.
