1. That the Republicans have reached their own Peak (oil) and they're on
their way down.. preferably in FLAMES. MSM is getting tired of kissing up to * and Right-wing bullshit because frankly, our education of many people are ACTUALLY working and it just took their friggin sweet time for it to kick in...

4. when does the arm-twisting and threats begin?
when the republicans extended the time on the medicare prescription med vote there were reports of arm-twisting and threats made to GOPers who were voting AGAINST the bill

since the bill was passed -- arm-twisting/threats obviously worked

so now we have a few GOPers resisting bush*'s social insecurity proposal -- won't be long (if it already hasn't started) that these GOPers will be pressured to pull out their rubberstamps

bush said he would be spending his 'political capital'. bush* can't run for another term, but Senators and Representatives can and many are up for "re-selection". Recent polls show the public is at the least "skeptical" of bush*'s plan. I think on this issue bush*'s "political capital" account is overdrawn and his coat-tails are short.

Overall - it comes down to the Dems in congress to stand firmly against the bush* social security scam. Sadly, we have seen them cave-in time and time again. If the Dems cave-in this time, the GOPers who are also against the social security scam will also cave in
