Bush/Clinton/Bush/Maybe Clinton fatigue a factor in 2008 ?
If Hillary runs in 2008 how do you think the public will handle it at large?
Feel comfortable with a familiar name, or be tired of the bush/clinton/bush/maybe clinton thing for the past (as of 2008) 20 years?

Personally I am looking for some new blood in there...

1. She absolutely should not run
The election will not be about Hillary. It will be Monica Lewinski 24/7.

2. To me what would stand out is
if she wins, and we expect 2 terms, we would have had 36 years of two families in the white house. It just seems to lack any diversity. Out of 250+ million people in the US, you would think over a 36 year span we could find someone other then the same two families to be in power. Something just seems wrong about it all IMHO.

4. Actually if you count in the Kennedy's too you really have a point.
Only assassinations really prevented that. Then there was the Adams back in the beginning. Maybe we either really have a hankering for royalty or there really is a conspiracy at the top. Except, of course, the Clintons did not come from an "establishment" family. But Gore was the VP. And he did. Then there was Kerry.. It makes you think.

3. If We're Going To Run Someone Who Has No Chance of Winning...
...we should at least run a progressive!

5. It won't matter if Hillary is a "progressive" or not.
Look what the Republicans did to a war hero like Kerry. Imagine what the message would be if Hillary ran? It would be: "Do you want Bill Clinton back in the White House?????" Monica Lewinsky ad nauseam. Any message Hillary had would be completely drowned out. By the way I would vote for her in a heartbeat.

in other branches of the government too. Get some of these "lifers" out of DC and give someone else a chance. I'm also for losing Congress as the Millionaires Country Club and the House of Lords, too. We are not a monarchy.

7. She shouldn't run, but she should talk about running
I feel bad for Hillary. I know she wants this, and I can understand her wanting it. But it's not going to happen. She is not going to be elected President.

Could we really stand the hate-fest that would ensue if she ran?

However, I think she should talk about running, because it distracts the Republican hate-mongers while they attend to the little erections they get when they think about a Hillary campaign. Then, she should come out strongly in support of whoever turns out to be our best candidate.

Hillary is a good campaigner and she's immensely important to the Democratic Party. But, unfortunately, she's a lightening rod and we can't afford her.

I hope I live to see a woman elected President because I believe the right woman could truly change the world. But I don't think it's going to be Hillary.
