Sen. Robert Byrd on Tuesday compared Republican threats to change Senate rules to outlaw procedural hurdles that have blocked 10 of President Bush's judicial candidates to Hitler jamming legislation through the German Reichstag.
"Hitler never abandoned the cloak of legality; he recognized the enormous psychological value of having the law on his side," the Democrat from West Virginia said. "Instead, he turned the law inside out and made illegality legal."
Rove has his hoards and talking points out today over this from Byrd.
Help keep free speech alive in the mixed boards.
If we leave them to the paid right wing message boarders then it is cut off.
They are also rabidly tearing down Dr. Dean.
We should defend him where it counts --on the mixed boards.
There are people who are desperate to get some idea if other people are having liberal thoughts. Because of their location and situation they never hear it.
When these people visit a mixed board and see only the paid right wingers posting then they shut up.
On the mixed boards I visit the ratings on Roves minion's are very low and ours come in pretty high, but this is after years of the liberals in this group not hiding in some safe spot, but carrying our arguments out to the public.
Please don't let them destroy Dean and Senator Byrd.
