Putin's playing chess, W is playing checkers
A friend of mine said this to me yesterday, and I was amazed at the truth of it. Putin has been playing chess with Bush, while Bushie has been dragging around his checker set. They are playing totally different games. Intelligent vs Duh.

Bush went to Europe and embarrassed Putin this week, so the first opportunity Putin got, he did the one thing that Bush was totally opposed to: work with Iran on their nuclear plant. And now the Europeans are supporting...Russia!! They are all telling us that we are insignificant, they don't care what we think, and even though they all smiled and smiled at Bushie, at the first opportune moment, not even 4 days after the meeting of Bush and his soulmate, Putin, they all stabbed us in the back.

Checkmate, anyone???

2. You Nailed It
and so Bush has attained one goal. To isolate the US completely. Fortunately, the world does operate on this black and white notion. Influences can come in many ways without a war being declared.

Asshole boy and his freakish cult of neo-con dorks just gambled our power away.

4. Great insight!
Both Bush and Pootie Poot seem to have trouble with democracy. But Vladimir is playing a much more sophisticated game. Our man doesn't belong at the same table.

5. W is swinging a club saying "Duh"?. He is playing bully - checkers
requires strategical thinking. He went to a diplomatic meeting with the intent to humiliate his counterpart. Apparently, in spite WaPo's gushing, he failed to even accomplish that on the spot. he lost both the exchange of wordds and the negotiation prize. WTG, monkey!

7. Can you elaborate?
I did not pay close attention to Bush's trip to Europe... I heard about him chiding Russia on democracy, but I haven't heard what Russia's response was or anything else. Can you or somebody give me a synopsis of what went down?

Thanks in advance...

8. I sure as hell hope so.
We desperately need such a person leading us. I don't know how good Dean is at chess, but I'm sure he could defeat Bush any day. Not that Bush would ever play.
